About PECOME
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Beijing, PECOME brings together R&D, industrial manufacturing, product supply, technical service, and long-term field application experience.
On this website, PECOME refers to PECOME Technologies Limited and Beijing PECOME Technology Development Co., Ltd. The company develops and applies oilfield chemical technologies for wellbore stability, low-solids fluid design, reservoir protection, HSE improvement, and efficient field execution. Core technology families include Weigh organic salts, NATU natural polymers, NFA-25, and FloatX gas-suspended proppant technology.
Founded in 1998
For many years, the Southern Junggar Margin was viewed as a highly prospective exploration area, yet complex formations, wellbore instability, and drilling incidents prevented multiple wells from reaching their targets. In 1997, Xinjiang Petroleum Administration launched a renewed technical campaign and sought collaborative research support across drilling engineering, mud systems, cementing, and related disciplines.
PECOME was founded in March 1998 in response to that field challenge. The company proposed the Weigh organic-salt technology route around two practical principles: stronger inhibition and lower solids content. After research programs and field trials, the technology helped complete the first accident-free well in 20 years on the Southern Junggar Margin to reach its target interval in 2001. That beginning shaped PECOME’s long-standing way of working: close to the customer, jointly solving technical problems, and delivering field-proven solutions.

R&D
PECOME uses laboratory validation and field feedback to develop practical oilfield chemistry solutions. Our R&D work focuses on wellbore stability, rheology control, filtration control, lubrication, anti-sloughing, plugging, reservoir protection, proppant transport, and environmental performance.
Innovation output is built through laboratory testing, intellectual-property protection, technical papers, customer summaries, joint publications, and selected third-party references. Sensitive well, platform, and customer data is handled according to confidentiality requirements.

PECOME has obtained nearly 20 invention patents and built practical know-how around Weigh organic salts, NATU natural polymers, nonfluorescent wellbore stabilization, solid polyglycol, nano sealing, high-temperature fluid-loss reducers, reservoir protection, and stimulation technologies.
Technical results are continuously documented through industry conferences, papers, customer technical summaries, and third-party public materials, connecting laboratory mechanisms, field validation, and engineering records. More than 300 Chinese journal papers and 10+ international conference papers are related to PECOME product technologies.
Nearly 200 news reports are related to PECOME products and technologies, mainly from the CNPC News Center, with additional coverage from Xinjiang Petroleum News, Qinghai Daily, Xinhua News, Sohu, and other public media and information platforms.
