NAX50 combines a nano-scale inner adsorption film with an outer compressible filter cake to reduce fluid invasion and stabilize cleated coal, mudstone interbeds, and naturally fractured intervals.
Field highlight: validated in a 165 mm slim-hole horizontal well, with stable long laterals, clean trips and casing runs, and block records including an 18.38-day drilling cycle and 12.71 m/h ROP.The Weigh organic-salt system supports shale-gas horizontal drilling with wellbore stability, inhibition, lubrication, and environmental advantages for oil-based mud replacement.

For offshore and tidal-flat reservoirs, Weigh organic-salt fluids focus on permeability retention, contamination control, and safer drilling and completion execution.

For salt-gypsum intervals and wellbore-instability risks, the organic-salt system supports inhibition, anti-sloughing, and rheology control to reduce stuck-pipe and logging obstruction risks.

For long laterals, extended-reach wells, and complex trajectories, the organic-salt system supports lubrication, wellbore stability, and rheology control to reduce drag-growth risk and improve casing-running conditions.

In shale-oil horizontal-well pilots, the organic-salt WBM has been evaluated against oil-based systems, with focus on ROP trends, wellbore stability, environmental replacement potential, and long-lateral drilling continuity.
