Sustainability

Responsible chemistry for safer, cleaner, and more efficient oilfield operations

PECOME’s sustainability approach starts with technology: reducing reliance on sulfonated materials, black-asphalt additives, and oil-based systems where suitable; advancing natural-polymer and lower-impact water-based fluid systems; and embedding QHSE, reservoir protection, field efficiency, and responsible operations across R&D, manufacturing, and field service.

Beyond QHSE

Sustainability is more than compliance. It is built into the fluid system.

For PECOME, sustainability is practical: develop chemical technologies that reduce higher-impact materials at the wellsite, protect reservoirs, reduce operational risk, and help customers improve field efficiency. QHSE is the operating foundation; responsible technology is the long-term value.

01

Responsible technology path

NATU natural polymers, NFA-25, Weigh organic salts, and PGCS-1 solid polyglycol support a shift toward lower-sulfonated, lower-black-asphalt, lower-solids, and reservoir-protective water-based systems.

02

Environmental validation

Technical materials for Weigh and NATU reference evaluations under EPA 1619, EPA 1311, SY/T environmental methods, GB marine biotoxicity, acute toxicity, biodegradability, heavy-metal, and contact-safety criteria.

03

Reservoir and efficiency value

Sustainability should not compromise field performance. NATU materials emphasize environmental care, reservoir protection, and drilling-engineering requirements together, while Weigh supports inhibition, low solids, and density control in complex wells.

04

Responsible operations

QHSE management connects R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, inspection, storage, logistics, field service, and post-job review to improve consistency, safety, environmental control, and customer delivery.

Standards

QHSE is the operating foundation

PECOME aligns its quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management practices with the following international and Chinese standards, supporting process control, risk identification, documentation, field execution, and continual improvement.

ISO9001:2015GB/T19001-2016ISO45001:2018GB/T45001-2020ISO14001:2015GB/T24001-2016

Control Process

Responsible control from design to field

  1. Responsible designPrioritize lower-sulfonated, lower-black-asphalt, water-based, low-solids, low-damage, and measurable environmental-performance targets during product and solution design.
  2. Raw materials and manufacturingControl key raw materials, retain samples and records, manufacture under defined formulas, and release products through performance testing.
  3. Packaging and logisticsManage labeling, package integrity, storage conditions, transport safety, and wellsite chemical handling.
  4. Field service and reviewSupport field application, track performance, record feedback, and feed lessons learned into the next round of formulation and solution optimization.

Commitment

Our sustainability commitment

PECOME is committed to quality first, safety first, environmental responsibility, and continual improvement. Through responsible oilfield chemistry, professional field service, and disciplined QHSE management, we help customers reduce reliance on higher-impact materials, lower operational risk, protect reservoirs, improve field efficiency, and achieve more reliable oilfield chemical applications.
